Article 1 Purpose of Processing Personal Information
Company NEXT Pangea (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") collects and processes minimal personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, the Company will take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Membership Registration and Service Management
The Company processes personal information for purposes such as confirming membership registration intentions, verifying and authenticating individuals for the provision of membership-based services, maintaining and managing membership qualifications, verifying identities in accordance with the Limited Real-Name Verification Act, preventing unauthorized use of services, confirming whether consent of legal guardians is obtained when collecting personal information of minors under the age of 14, confirming whether consent of legal guardians is obtained when minors under the age of 19 apply for expert conversion, providing various notices related to service usage, handling complaints, and preserving records for dispute resolution.
2. Handling of Complaints and Inquiries
The Company processes personal information for purposes such as verifying the identity of complainants, confirming details of complaints, contacting and notifying individuals for fact-finding investigations, and notifying the results of processing.
3. Provision of Goods or Services
Personal information is processed for purposes such as delivering goods, providing services, issuing invoices, providing customized services, authentication of individuals, age verification, payment and settlement of fees, debt collection, etc.
4. Utilization in Marketing and Advertising
Personal information is processed for purposes such as developing new services (products) and providing customized information services, providing opportunities to participate in events and receive promotional information, demographic-based service provision and advertising, verifying the effectiveness of services, understanding access frequencies, and conducting statistics and surveys on members' service usage.
